I am not sure whether synchronicities happen due to my illness. They have only really happened since I was in my twenties and had the diagnosis, though. I don’t recall them in my youth.
In the past the TV has actually spoken to me directly. it told me that it was a person in the TV talking and kept insisting I acknowledge it.
It doesn’t make sense to me though, that this is the same as when I look at the Apple website and they turn to talking about Apple at that exact moment on the TV, for example. This seems to me like a weird coincidence. Synchronicities, as I see them, are when something in your mind or consciousness is reflected in something beyond your control, but importantly, very finely tuned temporally. They happen in exact moments in the day.
I suspect I am tuning in and out of an energy in the world. Something that we cannot yet perceive in a normal way. They are experienced through coincidences. Something where you say, “oh, that’s odd”. But if you see these things often, can you still call them coincidences?
I sometimes wonder if what I see as the world is actually really something created by my mind anyway. I mean, we are really at the mercy of what we get from our senses as electrical impulses processed in the brain. Who is to say any of it is ‘real’. I might be in a computer game, yet to ‘go offline’. I find that dreams can play games with time, in the sense that a dream within 10 minutes of sleep can often seem like it has been hours. Perhaps, a similar state is one I/we are in? When I wake, the game will have proceeded for years but in real time, maybe not so long.
